Harvest of Friends
A Harvest of Friends. Together at Neighbor to Neighbor, we are able to help each other, and helping others is the best way to make friends. It is through friends that we feel valued, and it is through friends we feel connected in a larger way.
Friends exemplify Neighbor to Neighbor’s core values: R.I.D.E.S.
Respect, Integrity, Dignity, Excellence, and Service to Society. Each day, Neighbor to Neighbor demonstrates these values with our friends. Friends from different walks of life. Friends who we may have never met without Neighbor to Neighbor. Friends who know Neighbor to Neighbor has their back and goes the extra mile. Friends who we value and have a special place in our hearts.
Join us this Thanksgiving season as we share with you our friends and activities happening at Neighbor to Neighbor. We look forward to hearing from you!
This Year’s Thanks: Volunteers
You are the Angels and N2N dedicates the Secretary of State’s Angel award to each and every N2N volunteer. Thank you for your service!
N2N strives for excellence each and every day, and it is our pleasure to share with you the fantastic things that have been happening in recent months. With over 180 volunteers providing rides to over 350 riders, our gratitude to the most wonderful drivers is given. Providing over 7,100 rides to help maintain health, social interactions, and generate positive well-being, N2N volunteers are the greatest!
We couldn’t do it without you!
Please know you have our undying gratitude. In the year ahead, let’s double our ranks. If you know a friend who can give their time, there is no greater gift. Find out more >>

#N2NSavesLives #GivingTuesday Find our hashtags on Facebook! N2N is a smart investment because your gifts are matched by diverse funding sources including federal, state, and local grants. We have only just begun making an impact. N2N must double services locally in Horry County before we can expand into more South Carolina communities. Volunteer Highlight: Bonnie ![]() Bonnie joined N2N less than a year ago, and she immediately connected with N2N’s mission. Her motivation and desire to volunteer with Neighbor to Neighbor comes from her personal experience with her father and husband. She is thankful for the ability to be able help others, and the difference she is able to make in their lives, because they make a huge difference in hers.
Want to Expand the Harvest? During the winter months, demand for services increases. Social isolation is at its peak when the homebound feel their own isolation more profoundly.
If you have ever worried about an elderly family member and wondered about who will check in on them and how they will get to their medical appointments, then Neighbor to Neighbor’s mission lives in you.
During Thanksgiving, let’s all stand up and provide thanks to those who taught us in school, fought for our country, and helped us raise our families. Let’s leave a legacy in their name so these memories live on. Won’t you give a gift to pay it forward this Thanksgiving season?
